That is the longest title you're likely to see. It's my name. I imagine it needs an explanation. Alright, here we go. I am the Everstrange. There is only ever one. Someday I'll write about how I came to be the one to recieve it, but not here and now, it's a long story. Special agent: my status in the SW-Files, an organization that will do more good while it's purpose is unknown, for now at least. Fweendish is sort of Deanna-speak for friendly. Jedi Master ought to be self-explanitory, as should anti-Hanson and Sorceress. Rune is my first name, Eleanor is my middle name. Kaliir is my last name in the Star Wars universe, and Avalon is a last name I use primarily in the chat rooms of Yahoo (cursed be its name, but still). I have the heart of a dragon according to the comments of a friend of mine and a draconity test you can take through a link at the Crossroads. I come from Gondor in certain personoas (spelling? whatever), a fictional city in J.R.R. Tolkien's fabulous Lord of the Ring trilogy.
Highly undetailed bodily description and short life history: I'm 5'4 1/2'' with redish-blond hair and eyes that are either gray or blue, depending on my mood. Most of the time I wear blue nail polish of varying shades on my toes. I have one hole in each of my ears (not counting the ones there originally) and have aspirations of getting a blue dragon tattoo (spelling again - I do not spell words, I spell magic, for heaven sakes!) around my ankle, but that isn't likely to come to much. I was born in Washington, DC, on June 9. I moved to Panama at 6 months of age with my family because my dad was in the Army, stayed until I was 3, then moved back to Maryland, USA. We stayed there until I was fourteen, then we moved to Florida when my dad retired, which brings us up to today.
I'm a Christian. I've been one for a while, but I never really seem to have gotten the hang of it until I visited a bunch of my mom's side of the family recently, and really woke up to notice how many splinters I've gotten in my butt from sitting on the fence between Christianity and worldliness. I intend to shape up. If you're wondering about how all this sorcery and magic fits into Christianity, you can read my third Rant on the subject.
I really like music, but I'm somewhat picky about it. I dispise Hanson, rap, most country, foreign-language opera, most 80's music and easy listening, but anything else is good. I especially like Bach, Celtic music and Jars of Clay. My favorite songs are Hymn (the version Jars of Clay did), Duel of the Fates from "The Phantom Menace" soundtrack, Basket Case, and Tubthumping (if you've heard of all of these, I'm impressed). I play alto sax and piano and I'm working on guitar, but I can't say I actually play it yet, per say. I make nasty twangy noises with it. Not pleasent, but I'm practicing. If you've visited my music page you'll notice that I can sorta compose on piano, and I'm working on jazz improv on sax. My current goal musicly is to get my driver's licence and a good CD of Beethoven so I can drive through my predominantly Garth Brooks neighborhood blaring the 9th Symphony loud enough to cause mass horse and cattle stampedes (that's the kind of neighborhood I live in).
Another big interest of mine is science fiction, especially Star Wars. I grew up on "Empire Strikes Back" and "Return of the Jedi" (not "Star Wars" as much...the tape got lost or stolen during the move from Panama to Maryland) and later discovered the books written about the events after those movies. I would have stayed a quiet, closeted Star Warrior if not for my friend Sue, who I met when I moved to Florida. By the time "The Phantom Menace" came out, we were first in line for tickets at the local mall theater and buying up merchandise like the world was going to be taken over by an army of droids tommorow. While my dad is a Trekkie, there has been very little tention over the subject. I've never cared for Star Trek, because I believe that if there really is alien life out there, the life forms won't look like humans whose parents were exposed to a little too much radioactivity. I was always fond of the crystal entity on Star Trek. Did it win? I hope so. I also roll my eyes every time the Enterprise or Voyager crew runs into another quantum singularity. How many singularities does it take for them to stop being singular? Gene Rodenberry did come back to something cooler with Earth: Final Conflict. I still have the same alien gripe with it, but I like the story better. Liam and Augor rock! Oh yes, and must add a few quotes (match them to the movies if you can!) "Tell him I'm eating," "Come with me if you want to live," and "Get yourself to Mars."
Fav actors: Charlie Sheen, Christian Slater, Sam Neill, Ewan McGregor, Liam Neeson. Charlie Sheen has indearing mannerisms and usually good hair, Christian Slater has the hair and a nice voice (and a cute kid!), Sam Neill does a sort of looking-up thing I like and is an all around good actor, Ewan is fine in "The Phantom Menace", and Liam Neeson is just a really good actor. Fav movies other than Star Wars: "Merlin", "X-Files: Fight the Future", "The Terminator". Fav colors: blue and black (you could probably have guessed that). Fav foods: stir fry, pizza and Diet Coke (yes, Diet Coke is a food to me. also a meal, apetizer, snack, and energy source). Don't ask me why I put this whole paragraph in here, I really don't know.
Can't forget my pets and siblings. If you can't tell, this was one of the pages lost when the hard drive at 50Megs was stolen, so I'm making this up as I go along now, no nice concious thought. Anyway: I've got a blue beta fish named Drago, a yellow lab named Nala, two horses called Tasha and Dauba's Joharia Cha Moto (aka Jo), and 4 unnamed chickens (they all look the same). I've got an older half-brother and a step-sister who live in Maryland. Sorry, animals come first sometimes... just kidding, Jeff.
I'm a chronic bookworm. I started out with C.S. Lewis's Narnia chronicals and I've stuck with sci-fi and fantasy ever since. I love The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy and all the other books in that series, The Lord of the Ring, and everything by Terry Brooks and Timothy Zahn. I also like Tom Clancy and Dick Francis, who write more realistic fiction. I've written a little myself, and even finnished a thing or two. I write a lot of fantasy, but I've also written a couple Star Wars stories that didn't get published and therefor lost their places in the timeline, and a realistic fiction story which I got bored with before I finnished it (also frusterated... I don't like the characters much, and I haven't been very nice to them). What I did finnish and type up is on my Manuscripts page. You'll note that they're all stories, and not poems. This is because, no matter how much Josh tries to help me, I am not and will never be a poet! Although poetry has the capacity to express what a gramaticly correct and punctuated sentence can't, there has to be somebody behind it who is able to write in a style I have yet to master, and that's not supposed to be possible anyway. Isn't it instictual, or something of that nature? At any rate, whatever it is, I haven't got it, and reading the cool poetry my friends write inspires me not to even attempt it, for I'd hate to make people read my crappy stuff.
I'm also no longer boyfriend-less! Now I've got Greg, who is awesome and cool beyond belief ::sighs happily:: Ah, all girls should be so lucky. He deserves more than this tiny little paragraph, but words are failing me...
I guess that's about everything, really. I finally finished my RPG characters page, who have gone sadly unused for a while :( May the Force be with you!
